I had a wood floor installed in the bathroom and they reset the toliet but now it does not have a good seal because of the floor thickness. I would like to replace the stool but till I figure how to correct this problem there is no point. Anyone have a solution?

Did they install a new foam seal?
It is used instead of the wax ring used in residential toilets. If they did you may have to cut out the wood flooring enough for the toilet to seat down properly.

I have not removed it yet. I am sure they probably just used the same one that was in it. I thought there may be a thicker one or even a kit to raise it to account for the floor thickness..

I suspect that a shim will fix this problem.
But you'll need a shim (of some sort) that is
1) equal to the thickness of the new flooring and
2) impermeable to water and waste products and
3) the full diameter (4"?) of the flange.
I'm thinking a poly cutting board and a jig saw might do it "good enough"

If they used the old seal I would try a new seal before I did anything else. It very well may have taken a set and is too thin to seal properly.
They are available at most RV stores.

You are right. Most any hardware store carries the thicker rings for your situation. Residential floors are covered with new flooring when remodeling regularly.

I have not seen wax rings used in an RV. Maybe because of vibration and movement?

Also the extreme temps... Wax might melt in the summer heat when the RV not being used.
I would consider the foam ring...

Not sure what the seal looks like under the RV toilet, but I recently used Home Depot toilet flange spacer rings due to increased floor thickness from our tile install at home.
Simple plastic rings like these, with a good bead of clear silicone between it and the original floor flange might work well enough to raise it and then use the standard seal kit for the rV toilet.
Might have to cut and fit a bit.
Heck, even a blank piece of plastic, a hole saw and some silicone and screws, you could fashion your own...
good luck
safe travels

You must NOT use any wax residential ring for sealing a toilet. After your first summer or when the temps reach extraordinary high levels inside your coach, the next time you use your toilet, you will have one hell of a mess to clean up and believe me it won't go away. You will most likely have to replace that newly installed floor around the bathroom.
RV toilets only use a special closed cell high density foam seal. I don't know if they come in different sizes or thicknesses. You will have to do some research to find out.
Here's an excerpt from a supplier of Dometic RV Toilet fixtures for which I own a Magnum Opus unit:
" Floor Flange Gasket Replacement - Genuine Sealand by Dometic New Style Gasket - Outside diameter measures 7 1/4" - inside hole measures 4 5/8" - Gasket is 3/4" thick. This is a direct, improved replacement to the old style, hard to set in place and hit the bolt hole gasket. Any time you pick up your Sealand toilet, for maintenance, repair or just cleaning - you must set it down with a new gasket. Don't try to fudge and reset it with the old gasket - it may have "seated" down and will not re-seat in the proper points. Always get a genuine Sealand by Dometic replacement."

The statement that a wax ring CAN Not be used comes as a suprise to me as I used a standard wax bowl seal under my Sealand toilet aprx 3 years ago when i installed a Thetford pvc extension platform under it to raise the height of the toilet (purchased from CW). I believe that south florida and RGV texas hot weather would be hot enough to melt the wax down if it was going to melt. Of course if you closed the RV up without any cooling to where it was a 100 or more inside then it is quite possible i suppose
