TRC Surge Guard 34560 Delay Fault?

I returned home yesterday from a 4,000+ mile month long trip in my motorhome, during which the 34560 seemed to function as designed, then today as I was putting the coach up in its storage shed when I plugged the 50 amp cord into the outlet the Surge Guard transferred power with little or no delay (the air conditioner started up 10-15 seconds after I connected the power), not the usual 2 plus minute Surge Guard delay.

Has anyone experienced similar issues with this brand / model?

I have written an email to TRC, but given the time (5 pm on a Friday), I doubt I will hear from them for a few days.

thanks Ike

p.s. it was likely hot in the electrical bay, the RV had been sitting out in the sun all day, and the electrical bay is on the west side of the coach as it was situated.
