Turn off residential refrig while in storage?

We just installed a Samsung 217 in our Country Coach and love it. However, we store it at home plugged in, and I realized that I have no clue how to turn it off. Any ideas? There's no "on/off" switch! I'd hate to have it be the third frig sucking power at home . . . I noticed there's a display mode that they use at the store, but I'm not sure if that's appropriate. I've also considered turning the temperature up high, but I don't feel comfortable with that idea either. Any ideas?

We can't unplug the refer . . . too built in. And the coach needs to be stored plugged in as there are too many computerized systems on a Country Coach to store it unplugged. I'll ask DH to look into the breaker, though.

I wouldn't think it would consume that much energy, personally I would leave it on and if still concerned about energy consumption dial the thermostat to a warmer setting.

Just a suggestion,,,

Safe travels,,

In your first post, you say you recently installed the Samsung. If you previously had an RV refrigerator (Norcold of Dometic), you should have an outside access door. If you do, that's where you are likely to find the plug for the Samsung. Of course, as long as there is nothing else important on the same circuit, it will be easier just to flip the breaker.

If you do turn it off, be sure to block the doors open or you will be greeted with an...ah...interesting aroma come spring.
