Turn on fridge

Can you start the fridge on Shore power if the motorhome is on an uphill angle? Or is it not good for the fridge

Sure, go ahead and get it running. Just don't let it sit and run like that for weeks on end. If I can have the REFRIG within one bubble front to back or side to side I don't worry about it. when you are traveling with the refrig running the angle is constantly changing. And there will be times when you just can't get it leveled as good as you would like. Over nite won't hurt it. many people will block up the jacks and have tires hanging in the air. that isn't safe or even sane. ..safe travels ed

Depends on your definition of "angle". It is not good to run the fridge over a couple hours when stationary and level. The reason the fridge needs to be level to operate is so the fluiids in the system will not settle in the wrong places. This is not a concern when moving because the fluids will not be able to settle anyway. The worst part of this is that the damage is cumlative. So if you run the fridge out of operational level 1 hour every week of the year, you will have the same amount of potential damage as running the fridge out of operational level for 52 hours straight. While I don't want my front wheels in the air, I would take that action any day rather than knowingly doing something that could cause the fridge tubing to fail resulting in the infamous fridge fires.
