I have a 2003 31' Cardinal 5th wheel with wineguard ant. I only get one channel while people all around me are getting 5-6-7 channels.
And the only channel I do get is Spanish speaking only and I don't speak spanish. I got up on the roof and checked conections no beter. My buddy brought over his TV that gets 7 channels in his trailer and only got that one channel. Any Ideas? I like to watch the news before going to bed.

Could it be you need to go into the setup mode and change it from Cable to Antenna, then to program it to the available channels in your viewing area? If that does not do the trick, what happens if you use a different TV?
Keep us posted?

I know that you have made sure the amplifier was turned on but it could be bad. You can check to be sure that it is getting 12 volts up the coax; if so then you may want to try replacing the head of the antenna as this is where the amplifier is located and is probably just as cost effective as try to replace the amplifier board inside it. Good luck and let us know the outcome.

markclement, look here Winegard Batwing Antenna and check on the Sensar III link at the bottom of the page. Near the end of the install manual is a good troubleshooting guide for the Winegard RV antennas.
Camping World sells replacement heads (only) for about $70...

To tell you the truth I don't know. We have had a TV in the RV since the begining but never realy tried to use it. We normally camp on the beach and my daughter never asked for it. There was always other things to do. But then I thought it would be nice to watch the news before going to bed and tried to get a channel to no avail.

Three possibilities
First the input selection switch is on cable or VCR instead of TV - if equipted
Second the Antenna amplifier is not turned on - should be a red light on when it is on
Third the amplifier or power source is defective

This happened to me once and the fix was as Rich described.
