TV's not getting power

I have a 2011 Newmar Baystar. I have 3 tvs and when I attempted to power on any of the tvs, it appears that they have no power going to them. The curcuit breakers are ok as well as the fuses. Can anyone help? No issues prior to this issue.

If you've turned off the circuit breaker and then turned it on again, I'd next look at your GFI outlets. One GFI outlet, with the 'Test' and 'Reset' buttons often protect other outlets on the same circuit. If it's tripped, all the outlets on that chain are also dead.

If you have a TV that is in the driver's eyesight, it might have a 12 v solenoid that turns off power to it while the ignition is on, but that doesn't explain the other two TVs not getting power. You should check the outlets for power using a multimeter, it would be odd, but perhaps the TVs have been zapped by a power surge.

Another possibility could be that the TVs are powered by an inverter so they work without shore power or generator. If you have an inverter, check for a tripped circuit breaker on it.

GFI outlets Bad

Thx for the info. I have. 2 GFI's in my Newmar Baystar. One in the kitchen works when I pluged in my coffee pot. I tried plugging a fan in the bathroom outlet GFI
And it did not work. Hit the reset and tried again, still not working. I'm now ordering the GFI from Newmar. Will keep you posted once I get it installed.
Thx again for you help.

The GFI outlet is nothing special, you could buy a replacement much cheaper at Home Depot, Walmart, etc. What's Newmar charging for one?

GFI changed out, still an issue

Replaced old GFI with a new one. Appears that the GFI is not getting any power.
Any ideas? Thx

Take the cover off the front of the breaker box and check the connections of that circuit breaker on the buss bars. See if power is being passed by the circuit breaker. Next, check if a wire has come loose. If so, take time to tighten all of the connections in the box, vibrations can cause them to loosen. If you have power at both wires leaving the breaker box, then you'll have to figure out if the feed detours to a light or other 120v item before the dead outlet, and check the wire connections there. It's illegal to connect or splice wires without enclosing in a box, so the wire should be unbroken between items in the circuit.

Also, a GFI will trip if any imbalance is detected between the hot and neutral wires. Make sure all 3 wires attached to the GFI outlet are good and connect back to the breaker box.

Is there another gfci somewhere? Upstream from the televisions?

Could even be a ground fault in one of the tvs.

We had to replace our home's kitchen stove because of that. It happened after a power outage.

Up Thread someone mentioned an inverter I'm going to repeat that suggestion.

IF you have an inverter then somewhere you have a second set of breakers.. They may be on the inverter itself (And likely where they can not easily be seen cause installers like to hide 'em) or they may be on a 2nd breaker box (As in my case)

But that breaker panel feeds both TV"s and the bathroom GFCI.
