Yesterday I was unwinterizing the MH. I have a 1997 Cruise Master 3190. I bought it used. I attached the city water hose to flush the lines out. That was fine. Then I turned the valve to fill the fresh water holding tank, and water started coming out the overflow. I checked the tank level and it reads empty. I didn't have a lot of time to mess with it.

I did check:

To see if the tank was empty. By looking at the gauges and opening all the low point drains and opening the faucets.

I looked at the water pump. There was still antifreeze on the outlet side of the pump from when I winterized last year.

What the heck am I missing? Thanks for any help you may have.

Maybe that was not the overflow, could it be the drain to the tank was open??? Check that and if that is not the problem I am not sure what it could be.

CLose all low point drains and then retry. Reinstall water heater drain plug or anode rod. Be sure to put the water heater back into the normal mode; reverse By-Pass valves and fill with water befor turning on any heating source.
