Updating maps on 7720 R/M GPS
I purchased a new 7720 Rand McNally GPS about 3 weeks ago and have used this on one trip (1400 mi) I noticed several errors in the mapping. Today I updated to the latest maps and have noticed a big improvement in the ease of using the unit,it is more user friendly. I would advise everyone that has any GPS to update the unit often. It took about 3 hrs to update the 7720 but sure is worth the time to do so..

Down load, GPS, up dates and preview your route, before you start your trip.
Items to include on your pre trip check list.

Words of wisdom...our RM 7710 and 7720 (yes, we have both) get "Docked" often.
Keeps the maps up to date and tops off the batterys.
Safe travels

I have found that fully charging the GPS, from 110v adaptor, before docking speeds thing up.
