Use Auto Gen Start during storage?

I live in Illinois, so we experience freezing temps regularly. For now, I have to use outdoor/open storage in the winter for my Class A gas. However, we still use it periodically during the winter to travel to volleyball tournaments, so I don't want to remove the batteries.

I plan to drive (or at least start) the coach once a month, and run the generator for a hour or so each month as well with some load.

The generator has auto-start capability, so I was wondering if I should enable the AGS while in storage to ensure the batteries stay topped off? Does anyone else do this? I am a little nervous to think about the generator running unattended, but it likely wouldn't run very long or often given there shouldn't be any load on the batteries outside of the inverter monitor.

Why add hours to the generator? If you use the battery disconnect switches, the batteries should stay pretty well charged between your monthly visits. If the batteries don't stay up, then you could add a physical battery disconnect switch to shut off all phantom draws.
