Does anyone have any experience with "VENA" tank gauge panel. We have a Larson panel now that works okay, but would like a more reliable system for monitoring holding tanks. Any comments???

It comes with strips that go on outside of holding tanks. Check out their WEB site for further info. (http://www.venaengineering.com)Would appreciate your input.

I'm not familiar with the Vena system but I've installed the external tank sensor SeeLevel system and love it. It's a digital readout, accurate to 2% readings.

If the Vena System is the same technology as the Sea Level brand and is as accurate and dependable, it will be a very good system. As a consumer and as a tech I wish they all came with this technology for reading of tanks!

I just recently installed the Vena system on my Bounder. It's the best thing since sliced bread.
It works on odd shaped tanks with no problem. You do have to calibrated the system by filling your fresh tank and holding tanks. The calibration algorithm works perfectly. Because my fresh water tank is 17" high, I had to upgrade to the longer sensors (+$5.00). Vena recommends twisted pair hook-up wire. I used CAT5 cable for all my connections. The current draw is so minimal that CAT5 cable will also work for the power leads. I would do it again in a heart beat.
