I purchased one from Camping World last week. Installed it in my toilet compartment today. It looks good but is not as quiet as I expected it would be. It's not as loud as the chunk of junk that Winninbago installed--anything was an improvement over that whine. I thought it would be close to the noise level of my Fantastic Fan. But no such luck.

Fan speed, diameter, number of blades and blade angle all help to determine the volume of air. Slower larger diameter fans and slower speed make fro a quieter fan. The Vortex is a smaller fan and higher blade pitch to move the air.
I was wondering how the Vortex would do and figured it was noise than a Fantastic Fan.

I have not found any fans as quiet as a Fantastic fan although, there is one that is close.
