So did you all figure it out? -

Just hook up a LED in line to the hour meter it will lite whenever the engine is running. -

I did not read all the posts so I'd guess this has already been posted. -

Lol! That’s exactly what I’ve been doing all these years, ever since I installed the new switch and realized it wasn’t going to do what I was hoping it would do. Finally decided it’s about time to do something about it and rectify the situation.
