My owner's manual says I have a water filter "beneath the galley sink". I can't see it, but there is a panel that hides most of the plumbing. I took a mirror and flashlight and still couldn't see it. It also says I have a filter on the water pump that should be cleaned once a year. It's accessible through the water service panel. I don't have a water flow problem, just want to know where stuff is at.
I my sig doesn't show up, it's a 2004 National Sea Breeze 1311 31.8'.

Is your rv 2nd hand? Mine has a filter behind the panel.. yes, it's a different rv.. but, if I understand your question and if you live in cold country.. or, if pre-owned, the prior owner lived in cold country, there is very likely a short piece of tubing that is put in place of the filter below the "filtered water" outlet. This is put in place when the rv is winterized.. ie, rv safe antifreeze placed in the freshwater system. Follow the line down behind the panel (mine is only about a 3/4 panel.. not from floor to bottom of sink). See if there isn't a short piece between two fittings.. maybe about 10-12" long.
Also, how many water pumps do you have? Mine has two pumps. On each pump.. on the output side, there is a clear or milky colored plastic fitting. It might be before or after a black "accumulator" that is used to help keep pressure from the pump pretty stable. If you have that clear/milky plastic piece.. it's a filter with a screen in it.. it's not very big.. maybe about 1.5" across or so. and about 1.5" high.
Check this URL:
Water System Accessories - SHURflo
It shows two "strainers" and a few items below the "accumulator". The strainers are the filters I was mentioning.
Hope this helps.

2nd owner, both Phoenix owners. Previous owner kept it in a temp controlled warehouse.
There is a 3/4 length panel that comes almost to the sink. No accumulator and only one pump. Haven't pulled the panel off where the pump is. Right now, it is up against a brick wall.
The owner's manual shows things my MH doesn't have, so I'm not so sure it ever came with one or both filters or if the manual is just covering all the scenarios. I'll see if I can get the panel off tomorrow. If it doesn't come of easily, it ain't comin' off.
Thx

I only mentioned two pumps because I have two bathrooms.. one in front one in rear.. water pump for each.
The 3/4 panel is under the sink.. easy to remove.. doesn't make any difference what is outside the wall..
If you have a filter.. or a place where one should be.. it would likely be only a taste filter.. white (probably) and about 10-12" long and maybe 1.5" in diameter. This would be something you'd have if there is a separate faucet at the sink for filtered water.. usually a small diameter chrome tube next that rises pretty high above the standard sink fixture. It's below that faucet that you should see the white filter.. or the replacement tube used for winterizing.
Possibly you don't have that faucet.. or if you do, possibly the filter was removed and the winterizing tube left in place.

No drinking water faucet either. I guess without the filter, I have less to go wrong. I don't like bottled water. No taste. I do fill my fresh tank with soft water though.

Just pulled three panels off. They only missed wood with one screw.
No sign there ever was a filter. Just a maze of hoses and no short section.
From what I hear, the Sea Breeze is the low end of the National line. The Sea Breeze LX is the deluxe Breeze. The next time I move it away from the wall, I'll check the one on the pump. I filter my water when I fill, there is a screen on the intake fitting and one on the faucet. Good enough for me.
Thx again.
