Water heat not igniting

I need help i have the atwood ele switch kind(2006 model of rv) of a hot water heater..we have tried to switch the button it shows to work cux it has the sparks but yet its like it's not getting any of the propane for it to work..we also tried taken the elbow part off but its on to tight. we was going to try to see if propane was getting to that point..what can we try to get the hot water heater to work.. thanks for any advise..

Try disconnecting the connector from the control board and reconnecting to insure good connection. Measure for 12 vdc or better at the gas valve, when the unit is trying to ignite. If you have voltage, you could tap on the valve the next time the unit is sparking across the electrode to burner. Let us know what you find.
