Water Heater Problem..

Suburban Year 2000 Mdl SW10DEM. Gas On. Runs 10-15 minutes shuts down. Same on Electric. Wait long period - several hours system will restart. Both the 110V and 12V systems shut down. Is it the ECO high and low temp fusible links? Reset buttons do not pop. Can I get it to run by bypassing links somehow? Did continuity on both 110V and 12V links disconnected (open circuit). Top high cut off at 0 Ohm. Low switch on at OL (Zero continuity). Ideas. Ed

PS - sorry - 15Amp breaker and 7.5Amp fuse fine in breaker box.

Does your unit have a round thermal switch with two side faston terminals? It has to be heated on the bottom, to allow the gas valve to open. Just a shot in the dark, but that fixed mine when I replaced it.
