Water pump keeps turning on
We have a 2011 Serrano and most of the time we are at a site with city water. However when we are not and try to use the stored water via the pump it keeps cycling on for a few seconds every minute or so. There are no water leaks in the MH. This happened before and the CW tech adjusted the pressure setting at the pump.
Does anyone have any thoughts why the pump is cycling? Anyone know where the pressure setting is on the pump?
Thanks

I can only think of one reason why a water pump would cycle, the pressure switch(low pressure) has closed due to sensing low pressure. lets say it shuts off at 50 psi, and comes on at 40 psi, the pressure is going somewhere..........if no leaks, it is leaking through internally in the pump. You might have to pull the pump if you are for sure you have no leaks anywhere to lower the pressure and make the pump cycle.

I'm no expert but I had a similar problem a few years back and I just took the pump out and cleaned all the screens and filters and everything worked fine. Maybe just blind luck but better than paying CW.

On some RV water pumps the water pressure is adjusted via a screw located at the center of the pressure switch.
The pressure switch is located on the Upper Housing, (aka: the pump head), on the end opposite the motor.
However the most common cause of cycling ON/OFF is an internal leak in the Upper Housing/pump head.
BTW, if that is the case, no water leaks out, but the pressure switch is affected.
On many, (most?), RV water pumps the Upper Housing can be repaired/rebuilt with a kit from A RV parts place...
(I used one of these: Shurflo 2088 Pump Switch & Upper Housing Repair Kit).

When this happened to me, I tightened the fittings on the suction line to the pump from the tank. I was lucky. That fixed it. My guess is that the pump was either drawing a little air, or losing a little pressure at the suction fitting without leaking water.
