Water runs hot/normal

Does anyone know why my water would run hot/normal on the water pump only? This doesn't happen when hooked up to city water connection- only when I'm running off my fresh tank. The water temp. pulsates back and forth from hot to normal. If I'm in the shower, I can tell when it's going to get hot...just before it gets real hot, the pressure drops slightly, then back to normal. I have dual controls everywhere except the kitchen sink where I have a lever faucet- and it does the same thing there too. When I called Winnebago they said try to adjust the pressure screw slightly on the water pump by about 1/8th of a turn. I havn't done this yet, what do you guys think?

Try adjusting the pressure switch as suggested and let us know what you find. It should straighten out the issue.

RV Wizard,

Thanks- I actually experimented a little and found that if I just open the hot a little less and control the temp with the cold- the prob goes away. My water pump is tough to reach- it's under the bed and enclosed in a wooden box screwed down. I'll have to get the mattress off and take the platform off.
