We recently bought an RV water softener after being convinced of the benefits of removing the minerals. It is said that hard water builds up in your fresh water and waste water tanks. Not to mention your pipes and sinks and toilet.

We LOVE it!

I agree wholeheartedly, I've had mine for 2 years and love it. I recently mounted it and a water filter in a storage area with a quick disconnect on the filter. It takes less than a minute to hook up the water.
