I plan to bypass my Weber regulator and connect directly to my coach low pressure line..I called Weber and a dummy there (the same one that told me I could ONLY use the 14oz propane bottles....wrong) said with an attitude that I CANNOT use the grill without its regulator...I have a very strong feeling she is wrong ....again! So...has anyone bypassed that Weber regulator and connect using the same propane bottle connection to a hose going to the low pressure coach gas? What parts do I need to Git R dun

Doc, you can do what you are planning with no problems. I did this same thing several years ago. I got the "T" fitting necessary to connect to the low pressure side of my coach tank at Camping World.

Dieselclacker

P.S. I just sprayed your spider with RAID.

Here is a simple way to test Webers regulator pressure:

Using a clear plastic tubing of the appropriate size, form it into a U shape with say 20 inches on each of the up rites off the U. Fill the U with water to the mid point--10 inches.
Connect the Weber regulator to one side and turn on its gas source. If it causes a change of height between the two columns of 11 inches, it should work on the low pressure of the coach system.

How will you regulate the size of the flame??
