Weldex Camera Monitor

Black and white camera monitor goes in and out. Mostly out lately! Connections are good and I have 12V to the monitor. If I turn the key off and back on, it will work for about 20 seconds, then slowly fade to a white screen and then to gray; same if I unplug and plug back in the power connection on the back. If I just turn it off and back on with the power button, it won't come back on at all even though the green power LED is on. Questions: How do I determine it's not the camera? I do think it's the monitor, but it is no longer made and wondering if anyone may know of a source or what else I might use? I tried google, ebay, etc with no luck. It's in a 2006 Holiday Rambler. I removed the camera, and the connections are molded into it.

I thought I was having a problem with my Weldex so I call
RV Cams: Backup Camera Systems (All)

Brent Jones

and sent them my monitor. They charged me 20$ but they said it was fine worked great plus I talked to Brent for about 30min on the phone.
So I did some more looking come to find the problem was with my Silverleaf that runs through the monitor that the J1708 protocol plug was part way pulled out, problem solved.

When on the road you need something to see what is going on with your investment, even the Scangauge D works well.

I like to see a lot of info at one time, would not leave home without it.
