Thumbs up Weldex camera system fix

There are several threads going back relating to flaky Weldex rear view camera problems... I'd like to share my solution.

I too found the stock cable connectors to be defective, despite being clean & dry and appearing to be "quality connectors". I bought new DIN style connectors from Jameco (I live nearby, but they ship). They are the solder-your-own type. (Plug cat# 15879, Receptacle cat# 180873) After installation, problem solved. Video is rock solid.

You will need decent soldering skills and attention to detail to do this, as the wires are quite thin. But it beats buying new and having to re-run a cable from front to rear!
