First time towing & on my way to Florida. Just lost my rear view camera. It's a Weldex WDRV-3007M. The monitor was skipping as we rode down some really bumpy highway. The screen just went to white & there is no picture. I checked the power to the camera & it's ok so, now I'm a little lost! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'd suspect the cable, especially the connectors. Make sure their good and tight. If you can take the connectors apart, check the wiring to make sure their crimped and/or, if soldered the connections are okay. It could be your camera bit the dust also.

Call RV Cams in Baton Rouge. Here's their website RVCams Backup Cameras and Rear View Systems: Backup Camera Systems (All) They are great people to deal with. The screen on my monitor also went white. I sent RV Cams my monitor and the tested for free. They sent me a new one and it works great.

My weldex 3007 has vertical lines in it all the time it's in a 2006 fleetwood and has never worked right from the start. Is this the monitor or camera? Can someone please help with this problem.

First, I would check the connections to the camera. Make sure they're tight. Second, I would remove the camera & plug directly into the monitor up front. This will eliminate any questions about the cable running to the monitor.

In my situation, it ended up being a bad camera! I didn't really like the Weldex system & after reading about all the problems with the system, I replaced camera & monitor with a new Voyager system.

I had the same problem a few years ago, with the same indicators. I took it out and found that a wire had come loose. (lucky).
It was easy to do.

The wires do go under the TV in a wood frame and sometimes I have to pull on the wires to get the picture to clear up. I'll be removing the TV to see if I can find something. Thanks for the suggestions. I do think it's time for new has been unreliable since day one.
