WH Problems...HELP?

I have an Atwood 6 gal. gas (GH6-6e) that is flaky. For some time now, when I hit the switch, the light comes on, but it doesn't even try to start (usually hear a little whoomp when it tries to ignite). Sometimes it kicks right off. Now the light won't even come on, and it doesn't try at all. Is it most likely to be the power supply? Or might it be in the white ceramic plug in the side of the power supply? I get a resistance reading across thermostat, so it doesn't seem to be bad, but I get no reading across the ECO.

Any clues?

You should have a reading across the ECO, sounds like the ECO is open and if so the wh will not do anything. Have you tried bypassing the ECO to see what happens? If the wh fires up, then replace the ECO (Don't run it for more than a few minutes if it does start)


An eco is just a thermostat. At least that has been my experience.
