The better the air flow (draft) across the upper condenser fins...the more ammonia vapor is condensed into liquid ammonia (which is COLD)
The more ammonia liquid, the more heat from freezer/food section can be absorbed by the ammonia liquid.
Just for the record, the ammonia/hydrogen solution in the cooling unit is never actually "cold" as we humans know the term. It draws heat from the fridge by re-evaporating to a gas in the evaporator section. That extracts the "latent heat of vaporization" from its surroundings, even though the temperature of the solution is quite high (it is also under very high pressure). It's the transition from liquid to gas that sucks the heat away from the fridge interior.

I know allot more now than I did when I started this thread. Thanks.

This cooling question all came about when the Norcold recall device failed recently. It will not magnet reset this time. I can't find one available online. I see another brand available, claiming to do a better job for $175. I considering buying it.

I would not do that! If you did, and had a fridge fire, the insurance company might not pay off because it did not have the Norcold recall device!
