Now that we have spent over 100 nights out in our 1997 Bounder, and driven from Va to Florida and than up to Canada twice, and many other night just a couple hundred miles away to relax and loved every night away.
The MH runs great, has been remodeled inside , new hard floor, couch, driver passenger chairs replaced. But damn does everything have to be so hard to fix.
And it seems they stop working with no notice of system failure.
I guess the the fault is mine for not being a mechanic, i have a retail business that my wife have worked 25+ years building a live that now at 50 we can spend some time away together enjoying going places.
The MH is in our driveway, jacks have been down two days and now no way can I move them. Even when they have released when I tried to move the gear shift in the past they retracted themselves. No they have power, the motor Rumsfeld to jack up...they now have been played with until they are fully extended. The damn retract all bottom does nothing... My wife said ... Are you doing it right... My reply was ...it's like brushing your teeth once you learn you can't forget and I have good teeth.
I will I guess call someone to make a HOUSE call.
I have tried to read all I could from the book, and here online but every idea didn't help... I guess its going to the damn switch, the fuse have all been replaced.
Damn if i was stuck someplace away from home at least I wouldnt be looking at it in the drive way

Who makes the jacks? If they are HWH, each jack has an hydraulic cylinder that has a manual release to bleed off the fluid and allow the jack to retract. On my coach the cylinders are a bank of 4 under the front part of the coach (generator compartment). They are about 3 inches in diameter, black, and about 6 inches long. Again, on mine the release valves are "T" handles projecting out of the front of the cylinder. Turn the handles anti-clockwise to open the valve.
That said, you may have to force a 2X4 under each jack pad and lever it up into the cylinder. Once each jack is retracted, close the cylinders completely to keep them in the retracted position.
Good Luck!
Mark

Go to the Power Gear web site, they have a great trouble shooting section. I used that to sort out difficulties I had. You can also contact them with your problem.

Well, thanks for the tips. I ended up bleeding the lines one by one. Trick now to find out why the pad wouldn't retract jacks. And get it fixed...

Hi gmasters,
Consider posting this in the iRV2 Owner's Corner. There you will find a Fleetwood Products forum. This includes a forum for Bounder. Nobody knows your coach like someone who owns one just like yours.
