We have 3 telephone jacks inside the coach and one outside.

We don't use land line phones and are pretty much Luddites when it comes to advanced technologies.

What can we do with these jacks and what have you folks out there done?

Thank you

Leave the cell connected to the charger and antenna, use a wireless handset.

You can use the jacks for many things.. For example a kitchen to bedroom intercom. you can use them for remote speakers for the sound system (4 wires should work out well. Alas you can not use them in place of cat-5

Cat 3 will work for 10mb ethernet for the short distances we are talking. Problem is that many rig wiring schemes daisy chain the wires instead of running individual feeds. These won't work.
If your feed is direct point to point, you only need to change out the rj11 jacks to rj45 to accommodate ethernet wiring.

Funny how that works! We just brought home a new Winnebago and it does not have any phone jacks. We want them. The park where we plan to winter provides a phone line for our use at the site. I have a medical device that sends weekly reports that require a land line. Looks as though I am going to be running some wires or visiting the power post with a phone in hand once a week!
