What's this for

Is this the sending unit to the panel that measures how much LP gas is left in the tank? Should I be concerned its' warm to the touch?

If I were to take a stab at it.......I would say it is a solenoid valve, when your LP detector goes off when it gets a wiff of propane, this solenoid valve slams shut, shutting off the propane flow till the problem is corrected, and then you have to reset the LP detector so the valve will open again.

It is the LP cut off valve. If the coach has an inboard LP tank a switch(s) can also be used to open and close the circuit and gas flow. An LP leak detector is activated by any flamable vapors.

I was guessing this was the CCI solnenoid which I have to replace, this is located just past the regulator with a yellow and black wire. It has a lable marked Parker. NM22-0511 9vdc, 6.8w

The LP level sending unit is the gage on the tank. It pops on and off or may have two small set screws through the bezel to remove.
