Outstanding explanation by RVDude concerning mix ratios. It really clarified things. I believe thats what the poster on RV.net was trying to say, but it did not come thru near as clearly. Thanks for a clear response. I shall take my sniffer and go round the rig before leaing for Zane Grey in 2 weeks. I can assume it (the leak/seepage) is NOT inside the lliving area or the alarm would be squalking. Nice work. guys.

Gary, I'm not a fan of teflon tape, especially for gas joints. Small pieces usually are detached(cut off by threads) while assembling the connection, then migrate to orfices or regulators where they cause repairmen lots of headaches. I choose to use a gas rated joint compound. I use Loc-Tite brand.
