I have read the owners manual and all it says is that you should clean the lint filter but it never says where it is. Diagrams do not show one. I have found and cleaned the prechamber on the pump (chump change) but no lint filter. What am I missing?

No dryer lint filter. The addendum to Users Guide says:
Lint passes safely through a self-cleaning pump and then out the drain or dryer vent in your Splendide. I don't know what model you have but I have a WD2100.

The bottom right side behind the door that "slickest1" refers to is the drain pump clean out. It is where any articles will get trapped that shouldn't go through the pump, buttons, paper clips, etc. It does from time to time collect a bit of lint. You should open it and clean it every so often according to the Splendid manual. When you do open it make sure you have some type of container that will fit under the opening because you get a pint or so of water out of it.
