Sometimes it's difficult to weed through all the different posts about batteries! (Almost as tough as tires! NOT)
But, I have to say thanks
to those of you who pass on your experience and knowledge (you know who you are) to all
of us that wish we had the skills!
I had planned on changing out the old 12v house batteries and finally bit the bullet for the 4 - 6 volt GC2's.
I did however, not pay 100% attention to the "measure first" and "plan your route" points! I have oredered the new cable that will allow access to fill the last one!
As for those pain to find, Fleetwood battery clamps, finally found them on Epay. But, $20 a pair? I think not!
So, some 1 1/2" L brackets, bent and a small piece of L stock glued on with gorilla glue and VOILA! (I wish I could weld!)
So again, thank you to those of you who take those of us that need the guidance "under your wings" (not sure if that saying works right!)
