Winegard Travler 775 code. Anyone overcome it?

Has anyone figured out a cure for the 775 code that does not involve sending the turret back to Winegard?

I have the Traveler. What does that code mean? In my troubleshoot section, I don't see any error code numbers.
Winegard just recently sent me a replacement turret, no charge, still under 2 yr. warranty, AND, my extended warranty is covering the install. All good.
My dish stopped turning at a certain point and I got the SK, ummm, I forget now, message. I called Winegard and after I sent them the info they needed, they sent me another one.
I'm curious as to where to find the error code numbers??

The 775 error is not from the Trav'ler it's a message from the receiver that it's not picking up a signal, which is probably caused by the Trav'ler. I have had to go up on the roof twice, pull the LNB off the end of the arm by removing the two screws underneath. Then I loosen the coax cables one at at time, push them in and out a couple of times to remove corrosion and tighten the 7/16" nuts back. Then do the same with the three connections on the turret and the ones going down into the coach. After doing that, I get a good signal from the antenna to the receiver.

Thanks Dan. Good to know for future use.

I'm going through the 775 bit now too. Trav'ler was repaired and I reinstalled. Now getting 775.

Winegard Help has been amazingly helpful in tracking this down. We've been using email and they have walked me through a lot of steps. They answer emails within the hour with good ideas. We're now focusing on the sheathed cable. I'm getting exercise climbing the ladder to the roof. I'll report any findings.

I have a Traveler on my Winnebago Tour. I just went through the Error 775 issue. The receiver said it could not communicate with the dish. Turned out to be a bad coax cable between the SWM LNB and turret. Put in a temporary cable on and all is well. Called Winegard and new cable on its way. The SWM LNB has electronics that must communicate with your receiver. If it can't you get Error 775.

The power inserter puts 21 volts on the coax to power the LNB electronics.

Solved my 775 issue after a lot of help from Winegard and many trips to the roof swapping cables. In my case unplugging the Power Inserter for 2 min+ got everything cleared. I had switched SWMs several times but never unplugged them. Don't understand it because 1 had 21.7 volts all the way to the SWM the entire time but that reset did the trick. Won't hurt to try that.

I assume you’re speaking of that skinny sheathed coax? I replaced mine a couple of years ago. It could be bad again, I suppose. As best as I can remember, the winegard control unit will give you an error code if that cable is bad? “No LNB somethingerother”?
