Hello all, a quick question. Has anyone used a battery solution additive to perk up your coach batteries for the long cold winter. I have read many reviews on these additives and they all sound good. What's your thoughts.

I don't know what product you have in mind, but I wouldn't add anything to the battery cells except distilled water.

Hello Gary, thanks for the input. If you google Battery Additive you will find several products and comments on how they work.

Thanks again
Peter

Let's see, if I was a battery manufacturer and could produce a battery that lasted twice as long as my competitors simply by adding a dollar worth of chemicals to the electrolyte blend, why wouldn't I do that and beat the pants off them in sales?

Sorry, but I'm not buying into any miracle additives. If you decide to try one, please let us now how it went after a couple years.

You can find some real-life experiences with battery snake oils at Buggies Gone Wild Golf Cart Forum Search any of the "sparky" golf cart forums to hear from people that have tried battery additives.
