Winterizing AquaHot

I will be winterizing my coach this fall.
I have an AH system and know the procedure for
winterizing the system and the coach.

I asked Aquahot if I should fire up the diesel burner
every once in a while during the winter.
They said I should fire it up for one cycle once a month just to keep
the nozzle from plugging.

QUESTION.......what do the rest of you do with your AH?

Do you fire it up or leave it alone for the winter months?

You should replace the nozzle every time you winterize or replace it in the spring when you unwinterize. You cant fire it up while it is winterized. So replace it in the spring along with a new filter. AS a full timer I never winterize so.....

Why do you say you cannot fire it up while winterized?

According to Aquahot, if your system is filled with antifreeze,
you should fire it once a month.

It is not recommended blowing out the lines with air if you have AH.
My coach will take 11 gallons of antifreeze to fully winterize.
