Xantrex Basic Remote

Anyway, I ordered a Basic Remote as a replacement and installed it today.
Everything looked good and setup went fine. Then after about 30 seconds or so, all LEDs turned off, as did the inverter. No lights on either! No inverter functions! Unplugged the cable and plugged it back in after a few seconds. Everything came up fine... for about 30 seconds... then lights out again.

So, is the inverter really causing all the problems or did I get a defective remote? I did remove the jumper (switch) from the inverter to enable the remote functions!

Any Ideas?

Never mind!!!

To quote my brother, and I hate to do that, but "You have to be smarter that the equipment you are working on!"

Just realized it is a remote and that you use the remote to turn the inverter on!

Anyway, it's working now!
