Xantrex Prosine 3 Problem

The 3000 watt Xantrex inverter/charger on my 2007 Tiffin Allegra Bus has an internal fault problem. Xantrex says this unit is not repairable. Well that really stinks because the I/C ruined all 8 AGM house batteries on it's way out.

Any recommendations on a new inverter/charger for a 40ft plus bus and how many house batteries do you have. 8 seems like a lot.

The Magnum inverters are highly rated and have a 3yr warranty. Also see units by Victron Energy. I like both and not sure which one I will buy...

i upgraded my xantrex freedom 20d to magnum ms2812 inverter/charger 1.6 years ago. it has been working great. the hybrid unit msh3012m is even better. both of them are outputting true sine waves. there are a lot of happy users on this board.
on imaraineusa.com, msh3012m is being sold at about $1700, and ms2812 is about 160 less. worth the bucks imo.

Xantrex discontinued the Prosine line some years ago and no longer considers them servicable

There is, However, a repair center (independent) which DOES work on them. alas (I do not have the address or name or URL (And folks if you do, please post it because I'd like a copy)

I just recall reading another thread, but I was busy and did not record the address.
