Thanks all -- 73's
Extra Book is on the table calling my name. I will bring it to the rally with me.. hah as if I'll get much of a chance to study there....
I have had this on my bucket list since high school. I gave up then partly because of the code requirement and partly because things got too busy. I had even made, with some help for circuit design, a practice oscillator for my high school physics class. I can't for the life of me find where I put it. I can only assume it was tossed out as I had used an old phonograph speaker box for the case.
LOL lots of questions still. Theory is one thing, hands on is a different ballgame.
Biggest thing now, is trying to figure out what I should buy for my first real radio
I should be in the database the middle of next week, since Monday is a holiday.
I was really amazed, there were about 10 people taking the test. One guy sailed through all three. A 20 ish young lady, a few young guys in their 20's and the rest of us with a few gray hairs hehe. I kind of expected to have one or two others max.
Total of three of us passed the general exam.
