12v layout

I will be installing 2 6V 225 mAh batteries on my Imagine 2800BH trailer with 30A 120v

I have solar panel kit 200w renogy with Renogy Voyager 20a charger.
I have a 2000W puresine xantrex inverter.

My inverter will be at about 3 of 4 feet cable lenght wise from my batteries.

1)What size wire I need to joint the 2 6V batteries together?

2) what size wire between my batteries and the inverter?

3) I need a breaker fuse between my batteries and my inverter, what size?

4) Do I also need a catastrophic fuse? If so why and what size?

What else am I missing?

Should I change the TT battery charger by a better one?
Any recommendation?

Where do I install that? I need to bypass the original one?

TIA

Didn't the inverter installation instructions cover most of your questions?

Battery interconnect cable should match the size of those to the inverter.

The systems I've seen have only the fuse , last one I helped replace was 200 AMP. Class T, But I've also seen 300 AMP used on 2000 Watt set ups.

I used 4/0 wire on all the parts of the wiring involving my 2200 watt inverter. I used a 400 amp fuse. My inverter can surge to 6600 watts.

I disconnected my original converter/charger. I installed a new breaker panel with a 30 amp breake that connected to the external TT-30P power cable and a 30 amp breaker that goes to the input of the inverter transfer switch. I added a pair of 20 amp breakers for my Lithium chargers so they wouldn't be downstream from the inverter transfer switch. The output of my inverter transfer switch goes to the original trailer breaker panel.

You should consider a battery monitor with shunt. I used the bluetooth Victron BMV-712.

Now trying to understand the difference with table 2 and 3. For my fuse I go with the cranking amps of thr battery or the ANL fuse for my Prowatt SW 2000 (250 A)?

on my coach, the factory installed 2000w inverter, and all cable connections among batteries and from/to inverter are 2/0. the t type fuse is 300a. i assume you probably better use 2/0.

OK, but if you use to light a huge cable, you can expect low voltage alarms and then shutdowns, when using the inverter to near full capacity.

My 1000 watt Xantrex has 2 gauge and my 2000 watt Xantrex has 4-0 gauge. Would have used 2-0 but already had the 4-0.
