A little help on CC

I have two questions about Charge Controllers for a proposed system using 960 watts of solar panels.

Does the Blue Sky Charge Controller SB3024DiL require anything additional (battery monitor, hardware etc) to program it for use and typical daily operation? How does it compare to the Morningstar 60 MPPT?

Robot Check

Thanks

It is a 40 amp controller, are you splitting the panels and using 2 ?

Yes, plan on 2 sets of three 160 watt panels. Thanks for pointing that out.

I use a Blue Sky SB3024 with an IPN-ProRemote and shunt for battery monitoring. AM Solar installed it in 2013. Pretty much set it and forget it. But you can also watch it and play with it as much as you want to.
