I'm not sure this is the correct forum but is anyone out there running B5 or B anything in their diesel units? I've read that Cummins is OK with up to B20 in ISC and other (IS?) type engines. I'd like to give it a try but would like to hear from someone that has or is using a Bio product in a diesel engine built after 2003.

There has some discussion on bio on our forums.

Click on the "Find" box above your post and search on "bio diesel" to find the previous discussions.

Be sure to uncheck the "Search current forum only" box.

We have an '07 Cat C7 and I run B20 whenever possible. It cuts down on the black streaks that end up all over my white pickup when being towed and I haven't noticed any difference in fuel milage or horsepower.

Until 2007, B5 was the upper limit for virtually all diesel engines in the U.S.A.
When ULSD was introduced, B2 was/is the percentage of bio added to diesel fuel to replace lubricity lost in the refining process to remove sulfur, we all are using B2 regardless of intent.
You may visit each diesel engine manufacturer's website for recommendation details.
That said, there are thousands of diesel engines running on B100 successfully. Read these for more:
