I need to convert my MH engine to run on E85--of course if I could actually buy E85 in my area of the country!

Not sure why you would want to.

E85 reduces your mileage by about 10%, so what exactly are you gaining?

True, but only for the 15% that is ethanol.. the other 85% is still oil/gas and now you're using more.

Of course the farmers like you more

Well weigh this it takes from 25 to 50 gallons of diesel to make one gallon of e85. Second only vehicles equiped to handle it can run it.
So in my book it takes a lot of money going out to the countries making diesel and also making those cars to as you say keep the money in our country.
That is funny. Like saying that american cars are made in america or oil from the US is refined in the US.

Of which I am discussing neither just speaking reality and fact. Nothing more nothing less.
Nuff said. I put my two cents in worth.

This forum will hopefully be an interesting addition to the ones we already have. As in the other forums, we want to keep to the intent of the forum and also and always keep things sensible and absolutely no flaming allowed.
Enough said??
