It was a hot day. It was the first trip with it.


My plan is to lower the voltage on the parameter that exits the low current state and keep an eye on how hot the compartment gets. Hopefully heat will be ok.

Yep, they get hot. Also where is your inverter? When running that will also get very hot. Where is your catalytic converter? That throws super heat under the motorhome.
Net net on a warm day it is easily over 100 in the front storage compartments in my motorhome.
On warm days am definitely considering leaving my inverter off which would also allow me to leave the solar off on travel days.

Thanks. The inverter is on the opposite side in a separate compartment. so that is not related. I have a residential fridge, so when travelling I need to keep the inverter plugged in. If it wasn't for the inverter then the power needed from the house battery would be minimal.
