what kind of wires are you trying to plug into it? i am using #6 from solar and #4 to the battery, and had no problem. i am sure even #2 will fit.

The kid is bit tighter than the classic. I have mostly used them with class B and Cs along with 4 kW-hr LiFe packs and 4 kW inverters.

I do wish that they made a 48 volt version of the brat, as I mostly work with 48 volt packs.

Well I've made my choice and went for framed panels, but only after buying some flexible ones and being disappointed in the quality.

Build plans:
1* 25ft 6awg cable with anderson sb50's on either end
1* Renogy commander 40amp + meter (again sb50 on pv side)
4* Renogy eclipse 100w 40"x20" mono panels (bargain at $1.30 per watt!)
1* sb50 - 4* mc4 break out cable (I may add a pair of powerpole disconnects between each mc4 and the sb50 to make it even easier to move around)

Just waiting for the panels to arrive on Tuesday, excited

The UPS man came earlier this evening, these renogy rng100mb eclipse panels look great.

Earlier this evening I got started on the cables. I got the cable braid installed over the 2x 25ft 6AWG main run, still have the sb50's left to be put on the ends.

I also made the sb50 - 4x mc4 parallel break out, and found some old 4AWG that I can use for the controller to the RV.

I love it when a plan comes together
