Recent mod Added solar

I now have solar.

Morningstar MPPT 60 with remote panel
2x6v 200ah agm batteries
855 watts in solar panels
Victron bmv-700 energy monitor
1000 watt PSW inverter with remote on/off button

I do plan on adding 2 more batteries soon to give me 400ah or if I save up I might try getting 4 300ah 6v agm batteries.

It was cloudy and the solar was putting 30 amps into the batteries.

Nice setup. With that many watts, you'll be charging the batteries up quick.

I've had the same controller for 5 years and it's been trouble free.

I thought they mentioned mounting it on a vertical wall, but it's been a while. I do know that mine gets pretty warm.

There is nothing like watching the sun silently charge batteries.

Enjoy the free energy.

Yes, should be mounted vertical for cooling. Natural convection, hot air raises cool air replaces it. What brand AGM's you using?
