Solar Installer Raleigh, NC area

I want to add solar to 2016 Itasca Sunstar 30T.

I think I'd like around 300 watts to cover a TV, fridge on LO, charging up to 2 MacBookPros, iPads and iPhones plus camera batteries and the other normal power uses. I came up with with just under 200 watts and want to get a 300 W or so unit.

Does anyone know a good installer within 3 or so hours of Raleigh, NC?

Also supplier recommendations?

Thanks,

David

I'm in North Raleigh also, but haven't looked for any installers.

Just curious about solar planning/sizing, how many amp-hrs is your house battery bank (which then you can only use 50% of). How long can you run on that battery bank without any solar power input right now? How do you plan for cloudy/rainy days, and or partial shade locations?

I was in CW outside of Raleigh and was talking to the salesman. Told him I would like solar installed if I bought one from them. He said yes the could do the work. That the 10watt solar panel would be no problem. When I told him I wanted he looked at me like I was crazy. He had know clue. Told me it could nt be done. I asked him if he knew of anyone in the area who could do the job. Again he didnt have a clue. Said no one around here does such a thing. I just said ok. Now it might be true that no one in the Raleigh area does such work, but not having a clue to a trend in rving that is questionable. Went to a show in Chesapeake Va, asked the question, got the same look.

don't waste your money on 300 watts most panels are a bit over 200, get two and a KID controller $about $750 and you get the best you can go off grid for ever.

need 4-6 batteries, it is not rocket science, you can do it your self mount the panels run wires to controller, then to batteries.

You can get plenty of help here
