Solar question, 100 amp panel
I am prepping a Grape Solar 100 amp panel with a Go Power 30 amp controller to use to maintain my batteries while the coach is in storage. I have a curious question. What kind of voltage do these panels produce when in bright sunlight? I put a voltmeter on the leads today with the panel in my garage with fluorescent lights on and got 13.4 volts.

Typo....100 Watt, not 100 amp. Sorry about that.
Just want to keep my house and coach batteries charged while coach is in storage. My storage facility has no electric available at this time.
I have six 6V AGM house batteries and two chassis batteries.
The panel was on sale at Home Depot for $100. I have made a bracket so I can hang it on the ladder on the rear of the coach while it is in storage.

Most 12 volt panels max out at 17 volts. The controller cuts it in at 13.2 and cuts out at 14. 4 volts.
Unless your upgrading to more panels, you don't need a 30 amp controller. A 10 amp controller will do.

There should be a sticker on the panel. There you will see the max voltage is likely 17.something volts and 5.something amps. This is with full direct sun.

My 100 watt Windy Nation panels in full sun can say 18 volts and 16 amps but usually it's 17+/- and whatever amps the batteries request.

I have 2 100 watts panel with a 20 amp controler. Works fine and keeps battery full. I can use every thing in the motorhome with a 300 amp inverter.
