terrible smell

Woke this morning by a smell like gassy septic smell not sure what it is but it seems to be coming form batteries or electrical in rear of coach any thoughts

You may have hit the nail on the head, bad battery. Terrible smell that can be mistaken for a sewer smell.

I put mineral oil in batteries last week did not put 4 oz but 2 thought 4 a little much wonder if this crashed batteries ??

Ok it is a crank battery it started smoking and leaking it is a sealed battery so guess mineral oil out of equasion think my charger is not floating ? It shows it is all other battery's seem OK ?

Hmmmm! As you know, our resident snake battery oil advisor gives a lifetime warranty to those who follow his advice, but it only applies if you add 4 oz per cell. Any less and you are on your own.

The question is, what is charging your crank battery that would have that result overnight when the engine alternator isn't turning. If your shore power also charges the starter battery, might pay to check what voltage it is putting out just in case.
