For what purpose? Charging batteries?
Despite owning a pre-DEF, 8mpg DP, I am an advocate of alternative energy sources. Small scale wind turbines are kinetic yard art. You’d be better served by installing a few hundred watts of solar panels on the roof.

If you do a lot of long term BLM land camping, probably worthwhile to supplement your solar, but if you move frequently, probably more trouble than they are worth.

Also be aware that most wind turbines generate significant noise.

Check the specs on which ever wind turbine you decide to buy.
Most make high output claims in the glossy print but they only reach that output in 20 MPH winds.
Check your weather and see how often that happens.
They are listing wind speed in meters per second.
One I looked at listed 12 M/S. That's over 26 MPH. A very windy day.

Wind turbines are 30% effective in known windy areas
That is why we still have about the same number of power plants even though the tax payers subsidized thousands and thousands of turbines

No, that was solar panels.

Vibration can be an issue.

The small ones won't produce much power and not worth the money. You will have to get a tower to mount it on . The turbine should be at least 30' higher than surrounding objects. It can't be mounted on a vehicle or building. The noise will drive you crazy. A large turbine for a permanent location makes sense , but their not intended for portable use.

As jcussen said, if you do long term BLM camping in one spot they might be worth it. A neighbor at Imperial Dam LTVA had one and it gave him significant charging. He full times and uses it all year at BLM LTVA in winter and camp hosting in summer. He also has significant solar. Wind gets him through stormy wet weather.
There are some interesting ones in YouTube reviews. His was pole mounted about 15' high and he parked on top of a hill.
I've been tempted to get one. I have 605 watts of solarand supplement it with a Honda EU2000i. I saw quite a few others at Imperial Dam LTVA.

We usually winter on east coast of Yucatán and winds are generally fairly steady at night. We have considered aeolian power but we have sufficient solar
