2012 Models at Hershey Show Feature MCD Shades

2012 Models at Hershey Show Feature MCD Shades

September 15, 2011, McKinney, TX - MCD Shades are a featured item in many of the recreational vehicles (RVs) displayed at what is typically America's Largest RV Show, the Pennsylvania RV Show being held in Hershey, Pennsylvania, September 12th through the 18th. Many OEMs have chosen to introduce their new 2012 models to the public at this event and MCD is proud to have been chosen as the shade supplier to so many different manufacturers.

MCD American Duo and American Solo Shades are being prominently featured on an array of Class A, Class B, Class C and Fifth Wheel recreational vehicles located throughout the huge event. For example, MCD Shades are now standard on some 24 different models of Winnebago and Itasca units. Newmar chose the Hershey event to introduce their new 2012 model Dutch Star, which now features MCD American Duo remote controlled, powered shades throughout, and their new 2012 Ventana, which also features MCD Shades. Coachmen introduced their new 2012 Sportscoach Pathfinder and CrossCountry models which proudly feature MCD American Duo Shades. And the new 2012 Serrano by Thor was introduced and it, too, features MCD American Duo Shades. Multiple new models also introduced at this event by Born Free, Carriage, Coach House, DRV/Doubletree, Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, Kibbi/Renegade, Monaco, New Horizons, Peterson/Excel, Phoenix USA, and others prominently featured MCD Shade Systems as well.

“This industry-leading shade system has been embraced by the RV industry as the new gold standard for window coverings and solar protection,” said Dave Townsley, CEO of MCD Innovations. With corporate and manufacturing headquarters in McKinney, Texas, the company is quite proud of its American heritage, using American-made components, materials and labor to produce a quality shade that has revolutionized the way manufacturers and consumers alike look at window treatments for RVs. (MCD shades may also be custom-made for consumers wishing to renovate their RVs, whether it be a Class A, Class B, Class C, Fifth Wheel, or Travel Trailer.)

MCD Innovations has been engineering and producing an array of industry-leading sun protection products since 2003. The Company supplies a wide range of innovative products to numerous RV OEMs, an ever-growing number of RV Dealers and to RV owners throughout the USA and Canada. In addition, MCD Shades are becoming more and more the product of choice for a multitude of marine, commercial and residential applications. As an example, unique MCD Merchandising Shades are found in close to 8,000 Dunkin Donut locations throughout the USA.

Below are photos from the Pennylvania RV Show being held this week in Hershey showing just a few of the OEMs who chose to include and feature MCD Shade Systems in their models.
