2013 RV Show Season Begins Strong for Thor Motor Coach

2013 RV Show Season Begins Strong for Thor Motor Coach

February 5, 2013 (Elkhart, In.) – With large retail RV shows like Cleveland and Tampa now in the rearview mirror, North America’s top motorhome manufacturer Thor Motor Coach is continuing to see a huge influx of new buyers for its new motorhomes.

“The 2013 RV Shows have been great, getting this year started on the right note. Our dealers have achieved excellent sales at our retail shows this year. Consumers are seeking out our products as a result of our great dealer base, introduction of new model features and the positive feedback from our ‘Shield of Protection’ customer service programs”, mentioned Joel Grimm, National Sales Manager for gas motorhome sales.

New product offerings have customers out in the market looking for Thor products. A short list of new products and new motorhomes that have consumers “buzzing” at RV shows include:

Thor Motor Coach’s HD-MAX™ high-definition exterior finishes with durable gel coat; offering all the sexiness of full body paint look for a fraction of the price.
The all new Four Winds & Chateau Super C Motorhomes; built on the Ford F550 chassis and powered by the 6.7L PowerStroke™ Turbo Diesel.
The Four Winds & Chateau 26A Class C motorhomes; a compact floor plan with walk-around queen bed slide.
Offering the best of a Class A and Class C RV the A.C.E. motorhome’s story continues with the introduction of the 27.1 floor plan; featuring a King bed and full wall slide, in a Class A Motorhome that only measures 28’-7”.
The Elegant and stylishly Tuscany 34ST diesel motorhomes; offering all the high-end amenities, while giving you the freedom and maneuverability you need, with an overall length of just 35’-0”.
The Outlaw 37MD Toy Hauler; a Class A Motorhome with dual slide rooms, sliding patio door with access to the garage, and a ramp door that converts to PartyDeck™.
The hot selling Hurricane 34E; these bath and a half models have created a whole new buying segment in the gas-powered Class A motorhome market.
Windsport 34F; a high-end Class A RV with a full wall slide, wide open living area, oversized shower, and premium King-sized Denver Mattress™.
“New products, floorplans, eye appeal and a concentrated effort to offer the best value in the market help us build increased retail desire for Thor Motor Coach products”, acknowledged Adam Gudger, National Sales Manager for diesel motorhomes.

I'm glad to see they (& other mfr's) are going with lighter colors for the full body paint. I was getting tired of all the black, plus those dark colors are so much harder to cool in the summer.

Thanks for the post, Mike.

We are still drooling to see the Outlaw 37MD in person (or at least pictures). It did not make it to the Nat'l RV Trade Show in Lexington or the Tampa RV show like advertised.

The 37LS is in full production and in dealers now, but completely sold-out/pre-sold in Tampa, so it was not at the show...however pictures are a-plenty.

There's only tidbits about the 37MD, like the artists drawings. It will have the most different layout, so looks the most interesting.
