Best Selling Motorhome Manufacturer Unveils New 2014 Class A Motor Homes

August 20, 2013 (Elkhart, In.)The New Miramar Class A Motor Homes from Thor Motor Coach, North America’s #1 selling motorhome brand, are heating up the market with a luxurious motor home with a full basement that’s perfect for today’s modern motor home buyers.

“It is exciting to bring to the market these new premium gas Class A Motor Homes. Many consumers are looking for luxury accommodations in 32-36 ft. models and this new Miramar really delivers”, noted Joel Grimm, National Sales Manager for gas motor homes.

The new Miramar motor homes feature four exciting floor plans with designs and sleeping accommodations to fit a consumer’s needs. An HD-MAX™ exterior with partial paint design is the standard finish, while striking full body paint packages are optional.

A wide open basement structure allows for multiple pass through storage areas. The Ford F53 class a motor home chassis provides plenty of capacity, supported by 22.5” tires and 22,000-lb gross vehicle weight rating. The motor homes highly stylized front cap is complete with LED accent lighting around the headlights and offer the flare of a sports care. The motor home's rear cap has an integrated fuel fill, allowing access from either side of the coach. High-mounted, halogen spot lights are mounted in the rear to better illuminate surroundings in low light.

Other premium features on the Class A Miramar motor homes include a three-camera monitoring system, power patio awning and huge 100 gallon fresh water tank.

Inside the Miramar, rich furniture fabrics give the coach a touch of class. Residential vinyl covers the entire floor of the coach for easy cleaning. Two-tone furniture is sophisticated and elegant and blackout roller shades on the windows keep light and heat out of the living area. An optional hide-away drop down overhead bunk bed increases sleeping space, storing up and out of sight when not in use.

The motor home's galley is equipped with an impressive solid surface countertop, 30" over-the-range microwave and residential Whirlpool™ refrigerator. An 1800-watt inverter powers the refrigerator, while the automatic generator start will fire the Onan 5,500-watt generator if battery power runs low.

All floor plans feature the premium Denver Mattress sleep system with “King size” beds in select models.

driver,

Gee I thought you were a Winnebago guy but I guess not. I'm still a Winne guy and will always be one as they make the best bang for the buck and take care of their customers.

When Rv sales were down Winnebago was still there. It is just a shame that WCC went down and now all that is out there is Ford. I surely like my 8.1l and my Adventurer.

Just picked up our Miramar 34.1 last week & love it!!

Few differences from ours and this press release though: No inverter, no Whirlpool fridge, ours is Norcold, and no auto gen start. Weird. We still love it though. Can't beat all the features and size you get for the price. I can tell it has it's cheap finishes here and there, but it's amazing for what we paid for it.

Also, I only see 3 floor plans on Thor's website, and this mentions 4?
